THE LEGENDARY MUSIC OF MOUNTAIN — LIVE WITH ORIGINAL DRUMMER CORKY LAING

Mountain Featuring Corky Laing brings the powerful music and enduring legacy of pioneering hard rock band Mountain back to the concert stage, led by legendary original drummer Corky Laing, whose unmistakable playing helped define the band’s sound.

Best known for classic rock anthems including “Mississippi Queen,” “Nantucket Sleighride,” and “Never in My Life,” Mountain emerged as one of the influential bands of the early 1970s, blending blues-driven guitar, powerful rhythms, and a groundbreaking hard rock sound that continues to resonate with audiences today.

Since 2015, Corky Laing has toured internationally celebrating Mountain’s extraordinary musical legacy. Following the passing of longtime bandmate and legendary guitarist Leslie West in December 2020, the project has taken on even greater significance, preserving the music and spirit of a band that helped shape the evolution of hard rock.

Today’s touring lineup features Corky Laing on drums, joined by Peter Baron on guitar and vocals, Mark Clarke on bass and vocals, and Ken Sidotti on keyboards. Together, these accomplished musicians bring Mountain’s celebrated catalog to life with the instrumental power, musicianship, and energy that made the original recordings unforgettable.

The live show features an outstanding selection of Mountain classics, including “Mississippi Queen,” “Nantucket Sleighride,” “Long Red,” “Never in My Life,” “Theme for an Imaginary Western,” and “For Yasgur’s Farm.” Audiences are also treated to selections from West, Bruce & Laing, the legendary power trio featuring Leslie West, Jack Bruce, and Corky Laing, including “Why Don’t Cha” and “The Doctor.”

More than a celebration of classic rock, Mountain Featuring Corky Laing offers audiences a direct connection to the music’s original history, performed by one of the musicians who helped create it.

With Corky Laing behind the drums and an accomplished band bringing these timeless songs to the stage, Mountain Featuring Corky Laing delivers an authentic concert experience celebrating the power, musicianship, and enduring influence of one of hard rock’s pioneering bands.

Mountain Featuring Corky Laing is available for corporate events, Festivals, Concerts, Cruise Ships, Casinos, Theaters, Trade Shows, “Meet & Greets” and other venues and events.
