Based in Fort Myers, the band brings together seasoned musicians with decades of combined performance experience, recreating the sound and spirit of Journey’s classic era. With spectacular lead vocals, shimmering guitars, rich harmonies, and a driving rhythm section, Open Arms transports audiences back to the heyday of arena rock.

Frontman Gabriel Jacobs leads the band with commanding stage presence and remarkable vocal power reminiscent of Steve Perry, delivering faithful renditions of iconic songs like “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Wheel in the Sky,” and “Open Arms,” along with highlights from Steve Perry’s solo career.

Backing Jacobs is a tight and talented ensemble featuring guitarist and vocalist Steve Peterman, keyboardist and vocalist John McCormick, drummer and vocalist Michael Schankman, and bassist Leo Mera.  Together they create the rich harmonies, powerful instrumentation, and dynamic live sound that define the Journey experience.
