The Everly Brothers Experience, starring Zach and Dylan Zmed with The Bird Dogs Band, celebrates the timeless music and legacy of The Everly Brothers. Inspired by the motto “Long live the music and long live the history,” the Zmed Brothers created the production in 2015 to honor one of the most influential harmony duos in popular music history.

The Everly Brothers’ extraordinary career spanned more than five decades, producing over 60 million records sold worldwide, 21 studio albums, and more than 30 Billboard Top-100 singles. From 1957 to 1962, Don and Phil Everly helped define the sound of American popular music with classics such as “Bye Bye Love,” “Wake Up Little Susie,” “All I Have to Do Is Dream,” “Love Hurts,” “Cathy’s Clown,” and “When Will I Be Loved.” Their distinctive harmony style influenced generations of artists including The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, The Beach Boys, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Bee Gees, and Crosby, Stills & Nash.

Raised in Los Angeles, Zach and Dylan Zmed began performing professionally as a duo in 2012, initially focusing on original music and mid-20th-century Americana. Mentored by respected industry figures including producer-engineers Richie Podolor and Bill Cooper, songwriter Billy Steinberg, and veteran talent agent Rich Rees, the brothers developed both their musical craft and deep appreciation for the legacy they would later celebrate.

In 2015, joined by drummer and vocalist Burleigh Drummond Jr. and a select ensemble of top-tier musicians, they launched The Everly Brothers Experience. Through extensive research, faithful musicianship, and years of touring across North America and internationally, the production has earned recognition as one of the leading tributes to the Everly Brothers’ artistry and cultural impact.

The Zmed Brothers’ performances capture the spirit of Don and Phil Everly through rich blood harmonies, exceptional musicianship, and a warm stage rapport that brings both authenticity and joy to audiences. Today, based just outside Nashville, Tennessee, the brothers continue to carry forward the tradition of close-harmony singing, celebrating the enduring legacy of the Everly Brothers for new generations of listeners.
